A moody atmospheric composition my dear Saad. I love the shot but it does have an air of poignancy because of the trade in human flesh. It is said and may well be true that prostitution is the oldest trade of all. I do remember visiting Amsterdam's canal area and was amazed at the throngs of people, just as Riny has said it is a tourist area. Well done my friend a great shot. Best wishes to you always.

You have done well capturing the mood and feeling at this location, Saad. Is very powerful. I also take note to the light overcoming the darkness at the right hand of the photo.

Thank you dear Riny ,I have never heard of it even when I am there ,but a close photographer friend said to me after I have asked him about precautions of shooting in the city ,shoot anything you want except in the red district ,I replied what is red district ? and he escort me there ,my last opinion about it : it is where the soul of humanity sold for pennies.

Prostitution has always been around in Amsterdam. Being that the city grew up as a trading town, For hundreds of years there was a constant presence of sailors. Sailors tend to spend a lot of time on boats, surrounded by water, with lots of other men. Traditionally, they have always sought the solace of a woman’s arms after returning to land,It is funny: this Red Light District is so well known that it is a tourist attraction!..
