This red “audience” will stretch for 800 meters and end in the area between the building of the Presidency of BiH and Ali-pasha’s Mosque. 11, 541 empty chairs symbolize 11, 541 victims of the war.
Hi Nedim, I like it. I also played around a little bit, I thought you might get some interesting patterns with the chairs and the way the light played off them. This is one I quickly cropped, but I don't have any tools available at the moment. You have an interesting subject here, and I think that the people in the background tell part of the story, it is a good document of recent history.
Thanks for the comment. The day when this was photographed in my town was not an ordinary day. It was an event that is accompanied by a lot of TV crews, reporters and photographers from around the world. I made a lot of shots. This photo is selected for Usefilm for two reasons: number of chairs is over at one point and this shot was taken in the contra-light. Here's another shot to your ideas.
interesting idea and powerful testament. Have you tried a different crop, it seems to me that you could get some interesting images by only including the chairs.
