About Post rush hour London, UK. Taken in sunset light. I literally saw the girls on the other side of the street reflected, lifted the camera, adjusted for light and clicked. I do feel a little sorry that I hadn\'t been 2 steps further forward to get a wider reflection of Waterloo station, although I was delighted that a red bus was in the shot. My first attempt (or even thought) at such things, and a nuisance that I didn\'t have more time for planning. Ideas for next time appreciated :)

THE IMAGE IS GREAT...If you move the center subject to the right
a bit, the image would compose and balance better....Marvin Wax

Boy, this photography stuff keeps you alert and your toes! ;) Nice capture. A step up to left, and a moment for the fellow to walk past on the left would've been even better, but you caught a great scene all the same. Wonderfully clear reflection!

Megan, like you I'm starting to 'see' other opportunities these days, all thanks to this site.
This was well spotted and well taken. For mr its not the red bus which needs cropping out, its that guy striding along just in front of it. He is too much of an active point in an otherwise static frame.
Regards
Keith

WOW! Different architecture Megan. Impressive composition because of the bright part of the reflection and the darker background. Original work!

Megan, this is really three dimensional. I think the red bus gives the right side something to focus on and the man walking into the reflection and the person on the left walking into the picture. This is a great photo. Your colors and exposure are right on. Nice sharpness. Great work. See it wasn't so bad driving downtown was it. Looks like it was worthwhile. Don.

Megan,

I like this a lot, and I don't think I'd crop the right side... maybe you can go back another time and try and catch that great reflection without the bus (or other vehicles) serving as a distracting element so close to your subject.

Very interesting idea. I think it might be improved by cropping out the red bus, in effect moving in closer to the reflecting surface. In other words, crop off the right side of this. Oh, I'm sure others will have different ideas. But the basic point is that this is a very cool shot. I wonder if you will go back and try more photos of this interesting "monolith."
