St Nectans Falls in Cornwall, a more wide angle shot than the other. We hiked for 40 minutes through ancient woodlands and rain to get here, but have rarely felt so rewarded. My long-suffering husband was standing in the rain holding his hands above the camera as I took this (raincoats and umbrella's were safe and dry in the car...). Although it was nearly noon the clouds made it dark enough to really play with long exposures. This was taken on ISO 100, 5 seconds, f8. It seems the 5 seconds was enough for some sunlight to get through onto the leaves - I was very surprised to see that result :) About the falls - the 5th centuary saint, St Nectan, was buried at the bottom of the falls by two of his sisters according to local legend.
Megan, This is wonderful. So much better than the other one. Your exposure is right on for the water. I like the way the water comes down and then through the hole and then on into the water at the bottom. JUst a great picture. Keep up the good work. Don.
