The DOF is perfect here, as is the overall composition. I wish only for a little more brightness/contrast to make the image pop. But maybe that's not what you want and just my personal preference. Anyway, I love this shot.

Depending on your window, it could have added to the quality of the photo. The newer windows have a UV coating and act, somewhat, like a UV filter. Regardless, this is a nice simple photo whose diffused background adds to its charm. I like the detail on the stump and legs, and am enjoying the placement of the bird in the composition. Love those chickadees, they are the cutest little feathered creatures. I can never sneak up on them to get a shot. Good work.
