creo que mostrar al mundo este tipo de imagenes es excelente.. nos da otra vision de otras culturas..referente a la mano me parece el toque que define el misterio del personaje....un abrazo

I decided what is the key of the capture. And the key is her face being covered and its details.
Sometimes I do the opposite of what I want.
I am controversial ....
Did not intend to alter her fingers, must be a flaw from my side.
Needs some jazzing up but you can do that vy well ;-)

No prob with the techs doc, me moaning about stupid halos is indirect a sign the comp is not strong enough. Maybe an agressive crop can help, just play, dont be perfect.

no: I explain you actually the foot is not cut but its cover; there is not an halo over her head (is still there in the original RAW image and t's just an artifact of the wall) but you are right the image can be oversharpened with an halo effect around her body, specially the right side; but i told you, techs are NOTHING you can rework the image forever and remove it; the important is the story, the meaning; is this casual or boring?
but again, you are right and I will try a better version dedicated to you because you help me to imrpove :)

now that you are talking about the cut-off foot, i remember one of the masterpieces of the past century and i always thought the same: "the feet are cut-off" and for sure they was but.....a masterpiece all around; I'm sure you remember very well the image too; unfortunately my image is other story and I'm not Robert Capa :)

Honest: i feel there is a little halo effect on her head/knees
and I feel she needs a wider space, her on foot is cut off.
Good/bad ? I dont care, no judgement, I say what I feel.

Gracias Gustavo, mi oscuro estilo en esta ocasión viene porque en el interior de la Haima había poca luz, pero en efecto encuentro que con poca luz se pueden buenas fotos, o al menos yo lo intento

it is the deep rooted habits,that is mixed with misunderstood faith,that led her to rise her hand and covers her face although she was covered completely by Abaya,or veil.
although very little is shown from her,her only four fingers,but did you noticed Dear JD,that her nail are polished with Hinna,the local body and hand makeup ?
she was grandma,but she was living,and influencing her surroundings,even in the desert,
