Well composed and great use of the HDR-technic. Like the colours and the soft misty effect of the waves crashing on the rocks....

Regards Peter

How lucky for you Chris, to be there at the right time. Love the comp. You've used the HDR program well. I still haven't been able to master it.:)

Chris, I know the frames can be hard to pick out. I wonder if the frame had a wider gray matt between the black border and the image. Maybe make a lighter border thats wider than the black. I just found the black so close to the image made it a little harsh.

@ Peter,
Thx for your honest comment.
Still i have some question. What part of the frame you don't like?
only the grey part in the black frame or the black and grey together?
Getting the right frame with a picture is very hard.
Normaly i use only white or black frames because they are neutral.

I hope you replay, so i can learn more.

Greetings Chris.

This is an excellent use of HDR. Great image and composition. I'm not sure about the frame though. Ithe colours and image have a softness and pastel look and the frame is fairly harsh.

It's a HDR with tone mapping from 6 exposere times. (1.6 sec to 30 sec)
I used Photomatix.

Greetings Chris.

Yeah, nice exposure of the rocks, too. This is what, 5 seconds?
