Thanks Pat! This is a great poor-man's telephoto, as compared to the 300 f/2.8! Only f/4 but portable, sharp and versatile! Works equally well with a TC.

Eb - Beautiful shot. Great "alternative" use of the 300mm for macro! I have found that using a long telephoto can really bring out the subject especially DOF.

I like the energetic feel of the shot, but I would tone down the saturation leves. Specially the background, since it takes away from the dragonfly.
