How happy I am that you also noticed this classic pose! It also made me think of old paintings. Thanks a million, dear Minoo:-)

Yes, youīre so right, Tim. Having a digital camera means that the learningproces is much better, the possibilities are endless and wonderful:-) Itīs when I got a digitalcamera and joining UF that I started experimenting and getting more serious about photography. Such joy!!
Thank you, thank you so much for being so supportive, Tim. It means much more to me than you know.

ahhhh well it was just a suggestion. Plus it is digital, so you can play with the benefit of experimentation. The beauty of digital cameras now is that digital allows for a rate of growth unparalleled with the past. The more you shoot the more you learn. Just the sheer volume of imagery processed creates this growth curve that we have never had the chance to experience before in the imagery department. And for someone, that has talent such as yourself, the growth potential is phenomenal, as seen in your portfolio already.

Breathtaking and beautiful shot Dear Annemette. I agree the crop would improve this . . . working on the rule of thirds but more importantly on the Golden rectangle composition (or a combination of the two . . . I think the right side can be brought in so that the light exits at the lower left corner emphasizing inside the room and allowing that thought to progress . . . pulling in the left side so that it cuts the window itself and makes a great counterpoint to the darker right side. Additionally, for compositional purposes . . . lower the top to remove the dark semi-circle area in the window and lock in the finishing touches.

This is really a good one Annemette . . . just beautiful!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

Example Crop to Consider

Itīs interesting hearing your suggestion, Tim. Iīve been somewhat puzzled about what to do thinking that maybe I should have cropped out the left part of the image. Still I personally like having some of the room visible adding to this feeling of dreams, quietness, fragility, safety behind the walls but the wish to get out. Still I donīt know for certain if the meaning would change by a tight crop. Anyway thank you so very much!!

Thank you once more, dear Luis. Some people suggest that I crop this, others donīt. I think maybe I should have cropped out the left part. Itīs good of you to stop by, my latinofriend:-)

I think this one has possibilities and can be improved with cropping on both sides leaving only the absolute necessary aspects, asking your self what is this composition about and what minimally do i need to convey it. To much information dilutes the power of any composition.
