Hi Bruce,Don't be such a wuss!!!! no pain no gain!!!! actually you would have loved it.I am still in awe of such magnificent scenery,simply breathtaking here in Fruitlands,5K away in Alexander it was perfectly dry,no frost at all,quite unbelievable.Will post more of series soon. Regards Micky

Thanks for your comment John,Yes you are quite right it was VERY cold in this area probably about -19 celsius.Really exciting to see though,it was really spectacular scenery. Micky

Thankyou Howie for your prompt comment,I would like to point out the fact it was not snow but frost which builds up in foggy conditions.Yes it looks like snow but is quite dry.The temp had been sub zero for days on end so the frost just keeps building up.It is extremely beautiful to observe and usually only happens once or twice a winter in the valleys which are foggy and never see the sun.
