i don't quite know why the colours in the vent turned out so saturated, just the way the picture developed...creepy place though...this was just a storage facility in a large 2 turret compound that was about 1000 feet above sea level (overlooking a 1000 foot cliff) and had been completely overtaken by the forest. It was a two day kayak trip to reach...worth it though..

You have created so many more possibilities with this photo than you have pointed out with your marker pen David! ( I am assuming this has been selectively coloured)
Downloading and desaturating immediately became aware of the arc childs drawing in concrete of a sunrise... for example.
The box is more intiguing to me desaturated because I can see how it floats in it's context (those white dribbles float it aloft.
Full colour would be intriguing too.
