Photogenic dog. But as CC, I'd say you're out of focus. This lumix/vlux camera has 12x stabilized zoom. At 64 sensitivity you should be able to get a clean exposure with completely blurred background. Maybe just shoot from more of a distance, and use that zoom. Also try a profile, or pull back as the dog is walking toward the camera to get most of the dog in the shot, and so on.
