Nicely composed. What I think is that those freakin' talons look VERY sharp. Be glad he veered off! Good focus and exposure. Seems like a very fast shutter speed since he's not in motion . . . I assume you were getting ready! ;)

This one is my favorite of the three that you posted. Nice composition, details, and his eyes are looking right at the camera!

Excellent shot Sam. Very sharp focus, very well lit, great composition with bird making eye contact and diagonal of the telephone pole crossarm.
