brilliant Paulo! did you use any filters or PS manipulation? I also have the 18-135 and cant get such sharpness+contrast. Amazing shot. Cold and surreal.congrats my friend

Paolo, I have feeling all those poeple move...like cross the plae from right to left, from there to here, they didn´t stop. Even you captured them all in such a cool moment, they never stopped their movements.
I like the light reflection on a small wet spots in the street, gives a feeling of late afternoon or so. And I like that I can´t see faces all of those human ants walking around, there is no difeerence between them...all they look so same, not poor, not sick, not too happy, any of them are sad ...
And totally the bast part of imag ... the lamp´s shadow...i really don´t know why, reminds me some old movie, or a blues mood or something so close to my soul ...i just don´t know what exactly
yeah, it is all based on feelings again

Silhouettes and shadows are superb in photography, as they emphasize the universal character of people pictured.
You said all with your title "ordinary day"... ordinary, universal, and full of humanity.
Beautiful texture on the ground. I like also the way the lampposts from the top are hidden in obscurity, and revealed only the ground by their shadows.
A little reserve for the group at the left, a bit "mixed" (sorry for my english).
Neverless, a beauty !
