About This photo was all blue, due to a day of shooting with the wrong white balance setting. I isolated the leaves and brought back the natural color by doing using auto levels. They may be a bit discolored, but i love the overall look of the mistake.

I will comment tomorrow.

What a beautiful mistake Alison. The blue sure has a great calming effect to this creation and works as a great contrast to the leaves. The compostion is well balanced!!! Wonderful post prcessing work.

It became a very beautiful photo, I love the contrast in the colour, the cold blue and the warm colour of autumn.

What a wonderful accident. It looks like moonlight on a cold winter night. It could hardly have worked out better!

I like this shot Alison, the color of the scenery give something of mysterious, the mystery that give force at the two leaves to cling to the branch for the life.
Ciao......Walter

Looks great, Alison! I accidently pulled a similar stunt today... You certainly turned yours into a happy accident! The background almost looks like some waterfalls. Except for the branches being a bit blue, it looks "natural"! Cheers, Gary

A great rescue, Alison! The leaves look natural, and a very nice contrast to the background. Sometimes a "mistake" can take us into territory we'd never venture to otherwise!

You are right, this mistake turned into a beautiful photo. I find that some mistakes are the best photo's. I like it.
