John, you know my love of sculpture and my ongoing efforts to capture good examples on film (or digitally now, of course). I envy you your opportunity here. Very fine work. I'm glad you like my fisheye photos... it is a difficult lens to use without falling into cliches, but I love the wideness of the field of view, and press on to my own satisfaction.

Big ozone hole over our country apparently but yup that is a lot more light than I see! :)

Ian, you and I are probably at opposite ends of the light intensity spectrum. There is no moisture here to filter it, no clouds and no soft plants to eat it either. If I know I will be out in it all day, it really is a good idea to wear a long sleeve shirt and hat. I swear you can feal the light pressing down on you. And yes, I do miss the softer light much of the time.

Hi John,

Good triptych... No good luck for you? What happened? I like the conerging lines in the photo in the middle, and it's well flanked by the two photos on eigher side, creating a nice overview of the setting.

Cheers,

Hugo

Very well done. I think this might be stronger with out the flagpole, but it does give the image a sense of location. I guess I'm torn on that. Nicely presented.
