About Taken of course in Arches National Park, Utah. There were 20 or so of us keen photographers lined up waiting for that magic like to hit the arch. At this point a coach load of students arrived who seemed to enjoy standing under and climbing up the arch much to the dismay of the photographers. However, I thought this students gaze at the arch added a good sense of proportion to this very popular scene.

beautiful capture Toby the colours are great and the student gives it a human factor and give a sense of how big the arch is. well captured

Hey Toby,
Excellent capture. I was there last month and despite waiting there for 2 hours , at the right moment of Magic light , cloud engulf the sun and I was bit disappointed for not having a shot which I anticipated for long time. You can see in my portfolio what I am talking about.

Would love to see a wide angle photo of this Arch.

Nice shot. Good framing of the mountains in the backround and I like the proportion added by having someone at the base. Good light quality worth the wait. Very nice. I think I would have favored a little more off center comp of the arch though. I hear that a lot so I've tried to keep that in my head and seeing your photo it comes to mind. Congrats!

Steve
