Hi Doyle, Thanks for your comments. I was fortunate with this particular lavender in that I did not have to do anything other than slight levels adjustment as they were in full bloom. Apparently there are different types/shades of lavender which I was not aware of until recently. This particular field really stood out in the landscsape with it`s beautiful colour. Regards, Ian

Hi Gary,
Thanks for your comments - appreciated.
I take your point and feel on reflection there possibly is something in what you both say about the sandy bit as it does takes your eye there so I have cropped a little of the bottom and attaced the new version here. Perhaps maybe now it is a little squat/square. What do you think? Although, I have to agree it does help the overall composition. Thanks to you both for your honest comments - they are appreciated. Constructive comments like this are what I want to receive because they are the ones that are going to improve my technique in the long run. Regards, Ian

Beautiful shot. I'm in two minds about the sandy bit in the foreground, I think the colour contrasts well with the lavender, but I can see Tony's point. Good leading line. Let's see more! Regards, Gary

Great colour and lines.Reducing the sandy area in the foreground might be a good idea,it distracts a little. Best regards, Tony
