i agree that the contrast and saturation could use a boost since there is such an overcast sky. the crop suggested might work, but it is not crucial to the composition. I like your framing over all, but would cut out half the sky...maybe midway between the dark cloud and the plain sky.

A lovely composition, Henrik. I have a suggestion for a way you might treat it. I think you could work on the contrast and saturation to bring out a bit more of the color of the foreground. And you could consider cropping out the water at the bottom of your photo. It would remove a little of the interest in the rocks of the foreground, but would give the foreground a greater weight. I've added a rough idea of what I mean. Steve

Thanks for your nice comment again! Interesting what you said about the composition. I'll make a new photo for you, with the compositions you recommended. It's my neighborhood.

Hi Henrik, I love the Norwegian coastline, it brings back memories when we toured the area by boat, mooring off on those rocks.
In essence a nice composition, and the portrait format works well here. I think the weather wasn't too favourable for you, and I think the cut off bit of the rocks in front is a bit coarse, it prevents the eye from following the lines towards the rear of the photo.
The islands on the horizon are a nice touch, though. I think if you'd panned left a bit, the photo might've been a bit stronger where the composition is concerned. Nice shot, though.
Cheers,
Hugo
