Thanks for your comment Klaas. I'm glad you like the picture. I've always enjoyed rockets and it was great fun to get this close to a real one. I was fortunate to have the sky look the way it did when I was there, it allowed me to create this illusion of flight.

I took this picture many years ago and at that time this rocket was on display at the Kennedy Space Center which is located close to Orlando, Florida. I'm not sure if the Saturn V is still on display there or not. Being able to get right close to it really helped me understand just how big this thing really was! Thanks for your comment.

Indeed Dennis, you almost fooled me, from the angle you took this one, it's indeed while the thing is flying. Only it would be be impossible to shoot this one then from the same angle.
I like it a lot.
