Hi Ivor,
Mmmmmmm, this looks so blooming good, warm bread with a lovely crispy crust to it!! I can taste it with lovely thick home made butter, strong cheddar cheese and a couple of slices of those beautifully ripe tomatoes. When I was first married we lived over a bakery so I had the wonderful smell of newly baked bread all day!! heavenly!!

Very mouth watering content Ivor. I was sitting here, quite content, doing the rounds and commenting and now I have to get up and get something to eat....I think you owe me a sample of that bread my friend....Good shot..Cheers..Ray

i think, it would've been much more interesting if you would have used a semi contre-jour lighting, to give shapes, and mentain the stillness of a "natura statica"

Very interesting photo and the braed almost smells of home atmosphere.Very nice colours,too.

I like the composition, and the bread is making me hungry, Ivor. I do think the photo would benefit by a little increase in contrast to help the colors pop out, as below.
