Thanks for your comments. Putting in the face was a novelty for me, as I'm just starting with photography and photoshop, but I understand it's been done before. I'm going to take your advise on the framing and work on the original still life and see if I can improve on the framing. I hadn't even thought about the framing until now. Thanx! (I've attached the original. I'll redo the shot when I'm more experienced with lighting and composition)

has the makings of a good stilllife but perhaps a bit cramped in the frame. What really detracts is putting in the face. Not really that much of a novelty and IMHO takes away from a potentially very good capture.
