About Taken today. Have seen the herd (Bill) feed the sheep for years. Asked if I could take some photo's. His wife hurt her leg and couldn't climb the wall into the field. I hope to capture her sometime. This is one of quite a few taken. It's great to see people like Bill, (who has been herding since 1948), working the land. These sheep are used for breeding which Bill and his wife know every indivdual one and care deeply about there wellbeing.

On the thumbnail this looked quite a 'ghothic' scene, with a cross in the distance... was suprised to see what it actually was. Another marvelous B&W. Great 'about', do like knowing a bit history behind the shot. Very good (think I may invest in a Nikon D70 next.. lol)

Keep well & bright

The line of sheep heading into the sunset make a very interesting shot.
