Absolutely excellent Bernadette but with perhaps a bit more clearance at the bottom border, a slight counter-clockwise tilt correction, and a jpeg cleanup because I don't think the grain versus pixelating lends a clean image especially if you were to print.

The most important thing about this piece of work though is that it evokes emotion and that is where you have greatly succeeded!

Hi Jonathan, thank you for your comment. A negative sandwich is where two negatives are placed together in the negative holder, and exposed onto paper at the same time, then developed with the normal process.

Amazing portrait... The converging lines of the riverbanks follow the lines of the body, and I like the contrasts. BTW, what is a "negative sandwich?" Excellent shot. Jonathan
