Nice shot! I think that photo would be nice if it would be focused on the cat or the waves (preferably waves for me). As I can see it is focused somewhere in the middle. The idea and composition is really unique. It shows a photographer with excellent "eye".

A beautiful image Mohamed.

"It is difficult to obtain the friendship of a cat. It is a philosophical animal... one that does not place its affections thoughtlessly." - Theophile Gautier

In ancient times, cats were worshipped as Gods. They've never forgotten nor will they let us forget. This creature appears to biding his time, contemplating the power in the ocean, waiting for his kind to be revered again...

Thank you for your kind words on "silvie". Your comments are always welcome.

Cheers
Rina

Dear Mohamed, your shot is such a find! One must have an expert eye to be able to catch such special moments! What was that cat doing near such wavy waters???? Whatever it was looking/waiting for, you got yourself an excellent capture! Bravo!!!!

Wonderful capture here Mohamed and so unusual to see a cat(or kitten) that close to water. The focus is great in the way you have caught the middle ground and gone for the blurry image. Well done to you my friend.....Best wishes as always....Ray

Mohamed,
I like the way you have chosen to use the same kind of focus on the cat as on the waves. It adds to the sense of the cat being mesmerized by the wave. He may have been thinking far-away "cat thoughts" or just waiting for some small fish to be washed up on the shore. We will never know.

Cats are such mysterious creatures. It's impossible to figure out what's in those furry little heads! This is an impressive shot Mohamed. The cat looks so intent on something!

Fantastic capture friend. I always wonder what feral cats live in such a wet environment. I was told because of the food the sea provides. Who said cats don't like to get wet... :) Andree

i like the splashing water and the cat watching it
pherhaps we are not even philosopher not all of us
to be philosopher one should be logical but i rarely see people wandering in the bush beating in arguement.....

Hi mohamed -

I like the unusual composition - the selective focus here works well. The sharp focus of the rocks/seaweed, with the unsharp cat, and then the motion blurred water, really makes this a great example for the 'blurry image' project.

Steve
