About A snowy day in Seattle. Yes, the lack of DOF is deliberate, not sure if it works. What do you think?

Well, as usual, I will be the dissenting vote, I absolutely love shallow DOF so this is perfect for me. But I guess the majority won't come back to a six month old photo and my vote won't count. Sorry I wasn't here earlier to defend your honor. :)

OK, well that would be unanimous, then. I appreciate the constructive comments; that's what this site is about!

I agree with the other two comments. Strong composition. The DOF makes my eyes feel a bit uncomfortable...as if I have one contact in the left eye and the one in the right eye out. So, yeah, I guess I'd also prefer a bit more DOF. I like the foreground bit.

I think this would be very strong with a deeper DOF. I like the way you have composed this and feel that if you had sharpness throughout, this would be an absolute winner. Good lighting, looks like a couple of blurred snowflakes falling and well composed.

It works, but I think it might have been a little better with a tad more DOF.. The field is very shallow here.. Nice photo, I just wonder what a little more DOF would have given the photo.
