Nice pic.Unmanned burial ground, the church, the tall & dark tree and shadows of the clouds created a horrifing atmosphere.enough for one to get goose bumps...

David, Great job on capturing the mood of the country church. The church in very unique but viewed from the cemetary makes it kind of spooky. The clouds and the sun/moon kind of makes me shiver a little. Great catch. Darryl

This is so very pretty, David. The details in the bird are wonderful. The colour and position of the branch really frames the bird beautifully. The vignetting is well used to draw the viewer's eye to the main object.

An excellent capture David with wonderful pin sharp detailing and such beautiful natural tones. I love too the buzz of the background bokeh that lifts your subject close to a 3D effect. Best wishes to you.

This is marvelous, David. I always wonder how birds let you come that close, or is it your being fast on the draw?

David I just say what is in my heart when I see photographs that I like or love. I become quite passionate over the shots that some people take and also envious of their talents. I am just a fairly standard photographer who knows what he likes and I have been shooting shots for well over 50 years BUT I don't get any better You take care my friend and just comment what you feel even if it is only one word. Very best wishes to you David.

Thank you very much singRay part3. If you haven't already, you deserve an award for your critiques. Their every bit as good as your photography. Critiquing is something I'm not especially good at, which probably why I don't it as much as I should.

Thank you, Randy. I agree, buildings especially, that are old or are in disrepair can be very photogenic.

CONGRATULATIONS on a well deserved award David. This is a well balanced composition with the fence leading our eyes to the skeletal trees in the misty fog. I love too the faint glimmer of the sun as it tries to burn through the murk of the morning. Best wishes always.

To us photographers, fences look so much better when they are falling down. Like everything old, they tell better stories.
Very nice image you captured there, David.

This is a beautiful, tranquil image. Your highlighting of the barn and road is so effective. It takes the viewer from the foreground right into the far interior of the scene.
