forget the lyrics MAN! your photography is far more interesting than some midlife crisis thought.
the black and white works well with those dark holes in the ceiling and the lone man gives a good feel.

Interesting, the holes in the ceiling really grabbed my attention. The inclusion of the lone figure & dark tones really adds a sense of isolation to the image. Well seen & captured Niclas, regards.

I really like this shot, but I can't quite say why... I think the strong shadows really help this and the composition is excellent.
From looking through your portfolio, I think you have a very strong personal style and one that is improving (from excellent to amazing!!). Congratulations!

very nice typically chinese shot niclas. unfortunately, old architecture in china doesnt seem to be valued much, unless it has the potential to draw in tourist money. most of the buildings that look like this will probably be gone throughout most of china in less than 20 years. however, the farther away from population centres like nanjing that you go, the better the chances of finding such buildings.
