Beautiful composition! This has the look of a fine painting with it's almost black waters and rich colors. I love the curled leaf in the forefront with the bud. Your most beautiful floral yet! 7+

So you have been trying out your new lens Jon. A difficult shot to accomplish hand held. I like the catchlight in the eye, it makes all the difference to animal pictures. I think a slght crop off the foreground would make it a more dynamic picture. Best regards John

Superb image,Jon dearest,excellent crystal clear picture of the bird.
I know I'm nit-picking but I would have watched out for the slight blur on the foreground.
Difficult to say how to do it, since you needed the speed, maybe - but I'm just trying to figure it out - a little crop to focus on the seagull.
