Dear Gayle,

Thanks for your kind comments. Your asking what is the object indicates that I am at least in some way achieving the goals of abstarct photography. The object is a large bolt with a glass bead on the top. I love your work.

Best wishes,

Ed

Very fascinating!
First of all, I think the colors are very eye-catching; but furthermore, the texture is very unusual for such an abstract picture, which makes it very interesting. It seems waxy, but flowing, moving... And the lighter spot in the middle adds the lively touch!

Greetings
Alessandro

I like the idea and concept of photographing eggs, the ultimate sign of life and creation. The sharp diagonal helps the composition, and the shadows are nice. Being a jpeg it probably doesn't do the original justice, but with something such as this, for capturing those fine textures and tones on the eggs, film is the way to go. For what this is though, it is very nice and interesting idea.

great image although the sand area is a huge highlight where my eyes keep getting drawn instead of to the rest of the image... but looks good otherwise.

I can't believe I haven't seen this one. I love this! If I had to search for something to critique, I would suggest rotating a little to right, as the horizon is a little tilted. But not a big issue. Still a very lovely image. Nice IR work.
