The more I look at this, the more I realise what people dont like about it. It took ages before it even got 1 comment!
I originally liked the fact that the manmade lights were so insignificant, compared to the remnants of the sun & the moon, which I posted for that reason. But I guess whoever looks at this won't be thinking that unless I already told them, therefore the pic doesnt acheive its objective.

This looks really dark (and bad) on my monitor. The lights are barely visible (and rather insignificant in my opinion) and I wouldn't have noticed them if it wasn't for the title. The sky is maybe a little noisy, but just a touch. The moon is nice and the streaks of clouds in the middle look like a brush pass, which is nice.

I like the shape of the flower a lot and I don't find the sky flat at all, on the contrary, the clouds give it some movement in my view.

Little too add to what the others wrote but I wanted to add my ratings to a wonderful picture. I particularly like the cloud/fog amongst the mountains and the diagonal lines in the upper clouds

Very bright and attractive colors ! I personally prefer the reflective water, I think it gives a nice shiny look to the picture.

I like the simple, well defined colors and the pattern formed by the branches (word?). I think that the left part of the yellow palm spoils the whole feeling a little, though.

I really love the strong color composition of this picture. I like how the patterns of uniform color surrounded by white, in the backgound, lead the eye to the flower in focus and seem to surround it. The 3 green corners and the central dark part of the flower helps to define it, in my view. I am giving it a full score and adding it to my favorites.

Hello Heather,
nobady can or should resist a sunset. It is the best time of the day, in my opinion. Time to relax, to be with family and so on.
