Excellent composition and the colors are amazing.

The DOF is perfect and I love how the colors of the others birds appear in the background.

Very loving portrait. Great lighting and tones. I love the sleeping baby and the way that the baby is positioned in it's mothers arms. Excellent! 7+

I love the crop that you have used here and the DOF with the focus on the petals farthest away is perfect. Even without color... this flower is a beauty.

The Lone Wolf has resurfaced again. Loved it the first time, but this too is an excellent image. Your skills with creating images like this are amazing. I too thought that the image behind the wolf was a cold, doesn't look like rain at all. I love this effect and it adds so much to the mood of the image overall.

So how many more award winning photos have you been holding out on us on. I see this is one of your old shots based on the Sigma camera you used. I can't believe you haven't posted this one before. EXCELLENT! Congratulations on the awards! There will more than likely be a few more awards along with this one.

I love all the images in this series, but would like to you if you have a wide angle image of the area that you can show us too. The area is just beautiful and the architecture is amazing.

Beautiful colors as your two previous post with a shot of some green. Excellent DOF. These tress appear to be surrounding the area.

The darks lines of the treee branches really makes the leaves stand out here. Again a most beautiful backdrop to the image. Wonderful DOF.

I like both versions you have the original post above and the B & W.

I disagree with Paul and feel that the "low-key exposure" is perfect. It creates more of a dramatic feel. However, I do agree with Shirley - you are very handsome, but I already knew that from your previous self portraits you have posted.

My guess is that he thinks you yourself might taste like chicken too (lol).

Wow his eye looks really scarry with all those different rings of color. I like the use of the star filter as it gives his pupil some depth.

Love all the detail in the are surrounding his eye.

Sometimes we take for granted what nature has given us. I've seen the same thing happen at Lake Powell with their water level there.

Glad you spent the extra time to enjoy the beauty of the land around you. It's a place I would find hard to leave too.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

The water level sure has dropped in this area.

It's beautiful landscape. Hopefully it will be around for many years to come for everyone to enjoy it's beauty. Colors are amazing.

This fence is really odd. I'm trying to see if you did something with the "V" in the fence, but it looks like that's the way that it is. Great point of one and probably one missed by a lot of people.

Excellent sharp focus and the DOF is perfect. I really like how the focus is sharp on the rock to the right in the foreground. However, I think this little guy would be framed better had he not been put in the center (rule of thirds).

I would never imagine that a place like this would exist in Florida with the large amount of land surrounding the home. Excellently composed.

I love the portfolio name "Heartwarming".

Looks like they have some professional lighting on the stage and excellent lighting for your picture. They truly are adorable and each their own little prima ballerina.

Thanks for sharing! This one is my favorite.

I bet some of the other parents and grandparents would love to get a hold of some of your shots.

Seems like each one is in there own little world here. Eager to please their family in the audience.

Wonderful consider the light you had to deal with and no flash photography.

Taking over 400 shots I hope you still got to enjoy the perforance of your granddaughter. I find that sometimes being the photographer you're there to see everything, but you also miss a lot cause you are to busy trying to focus on the picture taking.

Great colors and the bluriness of the image gives a sense of the movement of the dance.

My first thought was that I have never seen this angle of half dome - that I can remember.

My second thought was that the shawdow being cast from half dome looks like that of a giant eagle if you take a look at the whole shaded area. Then before I wrote this I look down to see if anyone else had made that observation - and yes, your mom did. I was shocked that someone else actually noticed it. I guess it's true - great minds do think alike!

There are some days that are just perfect for me. A chill in the air, blue sky and white clouds scattered about. The air smells fresh and you just have a feeling that it can't get any better than this.

This moment for you must have been one of those days.

I could see getting lost in the moment and seeing this image just takes you back to it.

Great fall colors and in my eyes perfect. 7+!

Being Croatian myself I'd like to know what part of Croatia this is. There are so many beautiful islands.

Wonderful sunrise! Excellent capture! 7+!
