I really like this one, it's a good example of an image that's not technically perfect (has a painting-like effect though) yet has real impact on the viewer.

A well observed image. The bottom half is where all the action is though so I suggest making this a panoramic, emphasising both the length of the jetty and the strong sky.

I don't pray but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the sentiment in your image. I once asked a Hindu holy man how the world could be made a better place, he replied "it's very simple, if you want to live in a peaceful world, then start by being peaceful yourself". The message seems to either get lost in all the noise, or there are those to whom the concept of peace seems to be anathema. So sad.

My suggestion is to crop out the sky and green, leaving only the gold. Then boost the contrast to make the figures perfect silhouettes against the intense gold. Like this.
