Your British Columbian photographs are a model of their kind. I half-expected to find a picture of Haida totem poles enveloped in fog in your portfolio. Like all your BC photos, this one is very, very nice. It's well-observed, well-lit, well-exposed. It has a nice, red-filtered (or whatever), dramatic sky. Everything is done correctly. It is entirely too correct. I've seen a thousand photographs like this with a properly off-centred island or tree and a sky occupying a conservative and correct two-thirds of the frame.

Well-chosen angle to place both Warhol's image and the lion in the same frame. To me this picture is full of irony. I think of Warhol and his collection of progressively sillier wigs, which he wore in some way like a lion's mane in order to both disguise himself and attract attention.
