This is a fantastic image. I love the effects created by the IR film, which makes the horses stand out perfectly. The composition is very nice. I think the placement of the horses is perfect. Its hard enough to get IR film to work right in 35mm format, but to see it done so well in a 4x5 format is stunning.

Gary, your still lifes are anything but "still" this is a beautiful composition, the green apple on the foreground in my opinion balances the whole picture... very well done! regards, Ricardo

Oh, "from the archives"; I was going to say this looks very "70s". The dark eyes are a somewhat haunting, but cool effect. The softness and lighting work pretty well here. You kind of look like Jim Morrison (of Doors fame) here; anyone else ever said that? Really a nice double portrait. Regards..
