This one reminds of those carefree days of running and playing in the fields as a child Paul...very nice mood, love the tones and the light on the fence, the angle is great, a feeling of mystery here too..beautiful capture of the swaying grass behind the fence...well done...mr contrast does a nice job too...:)

Reminds me a bit of a Holga shot Paul. I like it and the tones very much, the touches of grain give it a old vintage photo feel, the composition is for me, poetic, lovely low perspective shot into the sun...beautiful and sooooo peaceful...well done!! :)

What I liked in this shot was the use of the negative space at the bottom. THAT for me, creates the balance.

Thanks Avi.

Different cameras. Different countries. Different months!

This one is more of an experiment for the 'world shoot film day' (forums).

http://www.usefilm.com/Photo_Forum/22/1013712/

I ran the whole film through that day and processed it at home the next. I am only just finding the time to scan some results.

I do like this type of grass though, especially when photographed into the sun.

You are right JD and I took my influence directly from there.

http://www.usefilm.com/photographer/106220.html

I am trying to visualise a photo in my head that I want to take in camera. But before I can do that I have to experiment a little with various surfaces, lighting, 'how thick to make the layers of objects' and even whether to cover the objects with cloth or not to stop stray light.

In camera (I want to use Velvia) would be time consuming and possibly expensive so I am experimenting beforehand with digital cameras and scanners.

A very big nod indeed to the wonderful Carl.

Cheers.

Paul
