Cool! Wish you would have removed the leaf that's covering its head.

See the "About" James. I gave up trying to fit my actual exposure data into the UF form because they hardly ever have the settings I used.

Great idea to back-light the highlighter. I never would have guess what it was.

Great textures here. Now I understand your comment to me. You'll have to complain to those darm Norwegians who took better care of their doors.

Wonderful colors and a great idea. I'm with Petal --- I was wondering why they weren't all touching.

I like the composition and the interesting perspective with a wide angle. The range of tones are good, but maybe a little hot at the bottom in the center.

Wonderful image. Nice composition around the hay rolls and the slash of sky between the clouds. Great mix of B&W and color.

Thanks Jason. I agree that this is the weekest of the series. I had planned to stop the series with the previous door, but decided to continue it based on popular demand. I selected this image because the composition is very different than any of the other door shots I took, and I wanted to get feedback on it. Surprisingly, some people have liked this one more than some of my others --- go figure. I'll be posting a few more in the continued series that I think are stronger.

Thanks Petal. Looks can be deceiving though. I shot it from the side of a road. It was a very steep, 1.5-lane road, and if I remember right, I had to go up it in first gear. So, at least the horses under the hood (or "bonnet" if you prefer) got a workout.

Wonderful! Great family portrait. Looks a bit soft, probably because you were hurrying to get in position as they were trying to avoid you. Nice work.
