Thanks all for the comments. Mary Sue, I was trying to figure out myself which part of this picture was tilted. I think I straightened up the bull and in return the fence became tilted. I'm thinking I should have tilted the fence up and over to the left? That's what I'm seeing now that you mentioned it.

Great job! Whatever methods you used I like it. Love the starkness of the black on white and the shadows just make this picture perfect.

Lovely composition and lighting. The background looks like a grainy film but the flowers look so sharp, silky and shiny. Is-I'm embarrassed not to know-but is the G1 a digital camera? I could go look it up..but maybe you could enlighten me?

Beatiful Ingrid. Love the reflections and the use of the spotlight filter in PS has really worked quite nicely!

I like the compostion too, Robert. It is a bit blurry. Don't feel bad about this comment because I'm trying to learn to do landscape photography and it's a lot harder then imagined to get all the things you want in focus and all that good stuff Cute little guy you have there.

The horizontal composition really works in this portrait..which usually vertical is the "thing". I would like to see a lovely hand holding the rose? It seems the rose is just hanging in the darkness by itself. I love the darkness of the background.

Yes, Dawn. There was some zooming in PS and cropped. This was a picture I took when I first started my adventures with photography with SLR camera. Thank you for taking the time to view and comment.

Lovely warm colors Kim. What enhancing filters did you use? By chance the kind you use on a camera? Warming filter and maybe a mauve filter?

LOL Robert Thanks for your comment. He or She is such a cutie I had to share this photo with members of Usefilm. Him or Her...and the family are always scampering around in my back yard. They are really quite the delightful family.

In my backyard there is not a lot of light. I had one roll of 800 Gold Print left and needed to use it. The fastest shutter speed I could get was 350. I just can't seem to get any faster. Every now and then if a bird lands in a "spot" where the sun is shining I will get a shutter speed of 750. I shot alot of slide film last year...very hard to work with, and costs a whole lot more than print. This year I ordered all print film. I'm not opposed to using slide film but until I become a seasoned photographer and can tell just by looking at a situation or get paid to do photography I'm going to use print film, at least for the time being. I agree the 800 Gold is grainy. The 800 Portra isn't quite as bad. The 400 Portra is excellent. I could see very little grain.
Thank you for your comment Dave. I always love hearing from you

Well, DARN! In the middle of the night and early morning I had "OIL PAINTING" in mind. After finally going to bed at 6:00 am and waking back up at 11:00 am..My first thought..Oh Darn I wonder if people will think this was a coloring book picture that I had colored and then scanned? Geez, what do we think we are doing sometimes? HeHe HeHe..
Thanks for the comment Toni. Oh well, live and learn? HeHe..I should have titled this one INSOMNIAC LADY *blushing*.
