It's great. After opening the thumb, seing the picture, scrolling down, I was afraid that you might did that with the Holgaroid. PUHHH!!! I always go through that nightmare with every B&W of yours. However, stunning photo!!! C.

I am shocked by two things here......
The depth, clarity and overall quality of this shot.....
And that nobody else has commented on its' beauty.

cool result - for Carl Heinz: "The big aperture can be made even larger, if you wish (as shown here). Simply pry out the remaining plastic from behind the lens. This piece actually holds the lens in place, so be careful not to let the lens fall out and roll under the fridge. Not to mention scratching the lens all up with the screwdriver. If you go this route, use a couple SMALL drops of model glue to hold the lens in place. Also be aware that this larger aperture will also let in more diffuse light from the frosty  periphery of the lens (normally covered by the platic retainer you just removed), resulting in a more hazy image on film." Quote from the first link here ... its that I do with all plastic cameras - to use the outer parts of the lens is good for vignetting and blur ... esp with lenses that are more convex than others (Holga, Diana)

Holga, your Russian? mistress.
This is great, but trees1 is one my favorites, but this still has those great tones and that moody atmosphere you create. Beautiful work as always.

No comments, bahh. I love these Holga shots youve been doing, great tone and grain. Good eye, I like the free form shapes hanging in the air, it seems to enhance their contour and shape.
Nice composition. Cheers, Dustin

what stands Holga for? Is it a pinhole camera?
normally I wouldn't choose a more hazy effect,
here it is a benefit for the motive...

Cheers,
Verena

Look at this contrast and depth, dark and brooding. The gradient of the sky with the wind blown tree in the foreground is fantastic. As always the depth of your tones is so impressive. Your getting scary with b/w Lady D.
Cheers, Dustin
