Love the detail Eb, the hdr process doesn't do this shot justice in the sky though. Anymore tweaking and you will just get a grayer sky. I think some masking and adjustments to the sky are would be beneficial. I have found that after using photmatrix I take one or two of the original files and layer in areas that I am not happy with. It is not a time saving process but you do get some great detail lifts in otherwise dark areas.

Excellent contrast with the red coat Markus. The "dreary" look of a cold snowy winter day is certainly felt in this image.
I walk my dog on the weekends in a setting very similiar. She has a heavy fur coat on and loves the walk. I bundle up as best I can and endure the walk. Regards Ron.

I too like the shot and the composition. Sports pics are usually about "action" not the anticipation of. I wonder what the next 3 frames would look like if shooting in burst mode.
