Thanks Linda, The 40D has alot going for it, and also many bugs, I always seem to buy the newest model as soon as it comes out and in this case, bad idea, This is of course for what I shoot, I think 90 percent of shooters would love the new model, but It does have some AF accuracy problems while panning in AI-Servo...

Thanks bill, well to be honest he was actually uphill from me or at a upward angle, shooting at 640 EFL there is a LOT of forground getting cropped off, even more with the 40D and the 10mp, Ill leave the belly shots for Yamil :)
Thanks again..

Very VERY nice Todd, I have some good Kingfisher shots, but they are all on a fence, where they seem to like to fish from, Nothing as clean and with wonderful background as this, really great job getting in close! Have you notice that many other speices of KF are posted from around the world with 70-200s and shorter lenses, But the North American KF IMO Is one of the shyiest hardest to approach birds period. Great capture.. And the 300 2.8 what a lens, I have one but It always seems to leave me short, though sharper then the 400 DO, Its a special situation lens for me, wish the 400 2.8 didnt weight 10 lbs... How do you find it Handheld with the 1.4X ?
