Nice stitching, David, and a beautiful image. How was the new Epson printer? I use an ageing Epson printer for my panoramas, which I print on 100mm-wide rolls of paper... that way they can be as long as they need to be. For my MF panoramas I go to 22cm-wide rolls! If you do much stitching you might find the PTGui shareware interface for the freeware PanoTools software suite a timesaver. The latest version is greatly improved and quite user friendly.

You obviously took this in that best-light hour! It is really beautiful, and I envy you your visit to this amazing place. The play of light and shadow and the sombre colours, all from the same palette, make this a memorable photo.

A remarkable image. Beautiful textures and colours of rock and sand, and a very strong composition with just about perfect lighting! Why nothing since October, David? Hope everything's alright.

Your best shot imo... Makes me think of sesriem canyon where i took a similar and created the effect by getting someone to walk so that dust can rise from the canyon floor....

Hey David. Love this image. I'm always looking for tracks in the dunes. Thanks for the comment on my lizard x'ing. The desert shot was in Redrock Canyon outside of Las Vegas and the lizards were just something I had in my archives that I grabbed and inserted. Like playing around with images like that since the original was such a great "road shot". Hey, when you coming over to see the wildflowers here? Better hurry, they're almost gone. Take care. Laurie
