Amazing photo Jeff! This just completely takes my breath away! The long exposure worked out really well I do believe. The softness and flow of the water makes this picture so much more brilliant. Great composition as well!:)
Best Wishes,
Ashley

Excellent image Jeff the color, depth and shadows all add to the great atmosphere--It is very beautiful to view. I was very sorry to read your 'about'. We can all re-late to it but it does not make it any easier.

Sincerely,
Michele~

So sad to hear that. Though I have not experienced it, I understand how one feels loosing someone close. I can imagine the pain, specially when it was because of someone's elses negligence. I wish for your daughter, her friends and you the courage to overcome it.

Its a very beautiful image!! Lovely colors and mood!! Superb capture!
Warm regards,
Ahmed

Jeff, this is an absolutely wonderful photo... I love the intense colors and the contract between the two predominent colors and then the lone yellow flag and great line caused by the shadows and sillouette in the trees.

Now, about your absence and what you've had to deal with. My deepest condolences to you, your daughter, her friend and their family. I am sorry that this young man's life was cut short so tragically and by something that could have been totally avoidable. Life can be so very hard when it doesn't need to be. When will people ever learn that drinking and driving often times ends in devastation and loss of innocent lives. I hope that in time that all those affected by this will remember the good he had to share in his short life. But most of all, if they don't realize it already, they will have learned a hard lesson. The only way to make good on taking of this poor boys life is to continue to spread the message to never drink and drive.

I am so sorry and I totally understand your absence now. As a parent, it is hard to see your children go through such a horrible event. My prayers are with you.

Hugs,
Brigitte

It can ONLY be a wonderful day when you are next to such a glorious waterfall!I have nothing against Niagara, but to me the kind of falls you pictured here is the aesthetic rendition of this natural feature. It's like beautiful woman showing off her hair!

A wonderful capture! Love the way you introduced that falling-but-not-falling tree in the composition, it gives an artistic accent to the whole shot! While the sun rays filtering through the foliage....well, a spiritual experience, like waiting for something to happen!I really envy you this shot!

Well..let me loose in a field of sunflowers and then......I love the contrast of colours and the wonderful perspective!I'm tempted to say "the feeling of green" is all pervading, in spite of the yellow flowers and the blue sky!But this is what comes across strongly. The Nikon's doing a very fine job!
