Glad you like this little fantasy image.
My entire body aches... lol... better to laugh than cry... I have fibromyalgia and all old injuries are reminding me of this...
I upload a few images here and there, though I have so many recent ones that I think are "good enough". Sometimes the photographing processes tire me out very much (and I even mean uploading my work)...

Thank you. I am enjoying the LIVE BANDS challenge again, though I don't go to many gigs... still too much for me, but I'm quite pleased with the results and learning my new camera is so much fun! :)
Thank you my dear friend... The portfolio image is one made by my friend Hayley Ash just before leaving for a Halloween gig just last year (2010)... so you think I look OK still? Took me hours to get ready! LOL!

I shot this with the DS. I'm not used to my KX for such work (yet). I like the KX a lot as the "noise" looks rather more like film grain but the lowest ISO setting is 400. I'm still reading the instruction manual... LOL! The DS is a camera I borrow from time to time. And it does have a 3200 ISO setting.
I'm not really an expert with film... you flatter me.
I find the challenge of "thrash bands" hard work and often rewarding.

colourful capture dear Aniko. You did well. Was this taken with the KX or DS? My wife has a KX and loves it. Looking at the 3200 iso. Not saying you cant get it out of a DS. You can by pushing it the way we did with film. And i know you are a expert with film :)

Well, dear Aniko, I finally sent my long-distance guy a 'moving on' e-mail. What's funny is that when I posted my new profile, he was e-mailing me advice on how to change it. We went back and forth until I finally just called him. It nearly broke my heart to hear his voice again. He was very sweet but would not tell me what his problem is, so I don't know any more than I did before. He said he loves me, but it was more like a Christian 'I love you'...not romantic.
However, within a week I had found someone wonderful, who is crazy about me. He's still not real close...about 4 hours away, but NOTHING could keep him from coming to meet me, and we really clicked. His name is Don, he's 66 (I'm 64), 6 ft tall, 1/8 Choctaw Indian, owns three restaurants and rental properties, and is accountant for his church. In another week he's coming up to get me and take me home with him to see where he lives and works, go to church, etc. I'll probably stay with him for a week. He's so open and attentive...just what I need. I feel completely safe and at ease with him.:)

Whoever put so much elbow grease into the polishing of this gorgeous car should be commended! Only I don't know who it was since I was passing by a wedding and the car was outside the church, so I snatched the shot as quickly as possible...lol...
