I don't usually like water blurred this much, but I think it works well here. The contrast between the hard ice on the left and the soft water is very nice.

Amy, Thanks for the comment on this one and the earlier gull image. I like photographing birds and happened to be in places where there were lots of gulls a couple of times recently in the late afternoon. I hadn't paid too much attention to gulls before, but they're really quite pretty.

Grim but very pretty. My first thought, like Jim's, was that you might want to move the tree off-center, but on second thought I think the centering emphasizes the tree's isolation.

Excellent capture! I'm glad you identified it as a stilt; I was going to ask. I wish I could see the eye just a little better, and maybe a little more detail in the wings. Maybe a little levels adjustment, or maybe it's my monitor?
