And happy they are!
Lovely portrait, a little overexposed (IMO), and the man is sitting a little akwardly, he does not look really relaxed..
Anyway, I think its great.. /M

mm, thats really good.. Actually, I collected a bunch of them this particular day (middle of august), took the seeds out and dried them in the oven at low heat during the night, ground them into a powder. I'm now going to save it until winter and enjoy it, with ice cream ofcourse..
It is available in the stores, alot easier, but not as much fun..
It was fun photographing also.. the colours are great!

if you are a obsessive compulsive as you say, I would guess you didnt quit until you saw them all.. 50 that is..
btw, in sweden all cars have a license plate according to 'ABC 123', and I'm in a competition where you should find all the 1000 numbers 000 to 999, in the correct order that is.. I started in december last year, and I'm currently looking for number 013..

moody landscape indeed.
However, The fence on the bank to the left somewhat takes away the illiusion of wilderness.
Beautiful place though, I would love to go to banff, In winter, to do some skiing!

I love the variety of shades of red in this macro, also the placement of the pistil just slightly above and right of the center. Beautiful!

Stunning... I think that the photo would improve if you cropped a bit of the bottom part of the photo.. But thats just what I think..

Hi Laszlo. I love the out-of-focus runners in the background. It really makes the photo. IMHO I think that the photo would be even better if she didn't look straight at you... (maybe)

A cycle stand (?) with no bicycles, now thers a thing you dont see every day!
I think it is a great image, where you have used the diagonals and the perspective really well.

Darn, I forgot that was today...
Great work.. you should have taken a bit more care to the size of the moon, making all the shots the same size, But otherwise I think it is great, and I would like to see a larger version..
By the way, I have a similar photo in my portfolio from a long time ago, take a look if you are interested.

Hej!
Beautiful flower, love the soft almost silk-like fealing.. But I think that the white (other flowers) background interfeers to much with the main subject. At the same time I think that an all black bg. is too sterile..

you should rotate the photo so that the horizon is not tilting.
maybe a different composition, with the man not in the dead center would be better also.. something like this:

i agree with Güngör.. the first thing I thought about was the dark area at the top, when it should have been the lady and atmosphere.

About the lens, do you have a macro setting on that lens, or have you used digital zoom to get in so close?

BTW, did you know that Anthony Perkins (Norman Bates) was born 4/4-1932, or was this some freeky chance happening... (I didn't know that before I read it in some direct advertising I got today, first time ever that I have had any use of information in some ad's..)

The pose is good, except that the straight back and angle of his left arm makes him look very tense. I also cant make out what he has in his breastpocket and this is annoying.. I like the background.. my2c, mattias
