BG is a bit clumsy here. but nevertheless, well spotted.
go to north kolkata lanes where u'll find the same subject with better surroundings which will portray the main subject in a better way.

processing is not good. colors are looking a bit muted here. given the story the photo plays, i think b&w would be a better choice which can add more contrast to the 2 different parts of this photo.

actually there is grain. but i did some noise reduction and also, the shot was taken 1 stop under. that's why the grain is not much there even if it was 1600 iso!
