Margaret, I just noticed this comment. How very perceptive that you say "the leaves look almost like wood carvings". From teh moment I took this I thought wouldnt it be wonderful if I could find a talented carver and have this rendered using Tasmanian Native Timbers. One problem though is the scale - these leave are about 10mm in real life. Thank you for your feedback.

Just browsing your gallery and looks like you've captured a lot of beautiful places. Congratulations on BIP. It is a very strong image, well composed, excellent capture of the shadows of the riders as well as the sloping sand dunes! Excellent!

Thank you - I was really pleased with this image- Burano is a wonderful photographic location and I was looking for something other than the usual images of bright colours reflecting - here is a small - more common shot of Burano to give you some idea.

Wow, I love this image. It is truly a wonderful reflection. I like the rippling colors you've captured - the red house, the white chimney, the green window and what appears to be a bird against the blue sky. A very creative approach to capturing this image!

A phenomenal sunrise scenery, worth the fatigue ;-) The centered horizon is ok here, it?s kind of symmetry because of the reflections. My only wish is a bit more space for the mountain on the right to "breathe"

Stunning shot!!!!! Love the mist! And the reflection - so seldomly do you actually get fog in a shot and at the same time a crystal clear reflection. Defintiively worthwhile to miss some sleep for this.
