This is an exquisite shot. The DOF is fantastic, the focus is pin sharp, and there appears to be very little noise (given that the ISO was set at 1600. The white jersey stands out very strongly against the dark background and your POV is well chosen. A very nice piece of work.

Ian - I appreciate the comments. Concerning the crop, This one was cropped slightly to get the bodies of both players in the shot (I was trying to show body positions). I usually only do close crops when the original is relative close (like when I shoot football with the 400mm). Many thanks.
