great play of light and beautiful blue. one of the 4 golden rules in still life imaging is to avoid superimposing the objects creating the image. it is ideal not to create the impression that things in the still nature touch each other. good luck

Actually, I like this pic very much. I wasn't sure whether you post-processed it to obtain the blue-tonned background...And the dead-rose looks a bit sad, giving the whole composition a very interesting contrast: bright and sunny environment and a very sad flower.
....Anyways, it looks very nicely composed to me.
